ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Vaughn’s love for books started as soon as he could read. As early as age seven he joined the school library and spent much of his free time reading.

However, it was not until he was an undergraduate at the University of the West Indies in his native Trinidad & Tobago did he realize his gift for writing. As a student he was involved in theatre productions and later he led the drama group at his church. He wrote, directed and sometimes acted in his own plays which were always well-received.

Vaughn continued his training in writing and branched off to screenwriting. He has written a few public service announcements on HIV/AIDS which are aired on local television.

Desires – a collection of stories written over the past decade – is his first book. He is currently working on a novel, Fighting To Keep My Underwear On.
